Privacy

In today’s society, we sacrifice most of our privacy for convenience. Most don’t realize that tech and data companies use the private data on our phones, and sell them to the highest bidder. Even our government uses this data. I’ve heard it said that when something is free on the internet, you are the product for sale. Personally, I try not to give out my email or sign up for accounts on too many new sites, but at the end of the day it’s probably too late. If i could start over, perhaps I would choose an offline life, away from social media and the internet. The only reward we get in exchange for this life without privacy is the ability to use the internet itself and the connections it allows us to make.
