Dystopia Unveiled

Dystopia (BAD. PLACE) is the expression of all things in society as far as fear, suffering, and unpleasantness.

I believe that this description aligns with the definition I chose for dystopia, because of how the media (films, books, and/or other social outlets) portray it. Initially, a dystopian setting often introduces the effects of a particular circumstance that creates the dystopia itself. As well as, expand on the (often inhumane) method of controlling society. Furthermore, films often use oppressive governments, poverty, free speech limitations, or propaganda to set the tone of the dystopian theme.
