I do not believe the American higher education system is a dystopia. The American higher education systems give people so many opportunities to constantly better themselves. It allows for people to pursue whatever career field they want to. It allows for people to not have to conform and be like everyone else. People can gain more knowledge about any possible topic you could even think of. Just because of these possibilities I do not believe the American higher education system is a dystopia. When you think of dystopias most of the time they don’t have opportunities for their citizens to better themselves. They don’t allow people to gain new information on whatever topic they want to. Most of the time the citizens of dystopias career are already picked for them soon as they are born. Of course, the education system does have some major issues that need to be worked out but it is no where close to a dystopia.
