After reading the selection from Hobbes’s Leviathan, I realized that there are many forms of government that would be considered the least dystopian. In the United States, we have a democracy form of government and many other places would probably consider the democracy to be not dystopian, but as I look closely at our government system I realize that it is in fact dystopian. In democracies, the stigma is that everything is for the people, but it all varies and comes back to a select group of people which makes it dystopian because it doesn’t support all.

Aside from democracies, I would consider republic monarchy forms of government to be the least dystopian. I say this because everyone’s voices are actually heard in this government style. There are figureheads present that physically represent the people, but everyone is entitled to free reign over their actions. Although this government style does have flaws, in my opinion I see it as the least dystopian.
