Religion plays a major role in defeating dystopia. Although in many cases of dystopian societies, religion did not work in trying to reform the society into a utopia, it is a key way to do so. When religion comes into play, it can change the stigma of a large group of people and make mass movements which in turn become the reason why many have a change of heart. If and when this happens, it can lead to better actions and u it’s a,one the citizens to give them a reason to change everything for the better. Due to these reasons, religion is absolutely a necessary component to fighting against oppression because it gives everyone justification for treating others well and working to reform everything for the better.
