It is true that American Higher Education is Dystopian. First, when applying to a college and/or university some if not most require you to pay an application fee ranging anywhere from $10 to $50 dollars or more to a multimillion-dollar business in order for them to view your information and read your personal essay. Fast-forwarding to being accepted into your university of choice, you’re welcomed into corporate education where you are manipulated and being informed by public values, learning how to think, and becoming attentive citizens of the civilization are considered failures instead of success indicators. This has caused me to believe that higher learning Is for the production of “robots” and compliant workers all for the sake of getting a better paying job.
