My Personal Utopia

Before taking this class, I never thought about I would imagine a perfect world. Although my utopia may not be the ideal for everyone else, I do believe I have some ideas on ow I would conduct my world. Firstly, unlike what Freude claimed to repress individuals from seeking their full height of happiness due to certain laws, my world will still have such standards put in place. Why? Because in Angie’s world we have some decorum. Secondly, my world would be a place where gender roles are nonexistent as well as racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, and the list can go on and on. My utopia will practice and preach acceptance, not on a religious level but because we are all human. As far as religion or spirituality goes, I would accept all if it does not infringe on anyone else’s freedom. My world will teach expression as a form of identity so there is no hate; especially if growing up to not only love yourself but others. In my world, poverty does not exist; people will live how they want to live and have every opportunity to succeed. The citizens of my world are not greedy or crave large financial gains; simply about living the life you want to live. My utopia would be a place where disease does not exist, drug addiction or alcoholism does not exist, and people cannot fathom the idea of wanting to put harm onto anyone. I want my utopia to be a place of peace and tranquility; a place where there is no evil or a place that was built on violence. I would want the citizens to have a say. My utopia would be a world different from here; completely different. There is a lot of evil I this world and would consider what we live through as a dystopia, and this is why my utopia would be everything this world is not.
